Corey Matthews sexual assault trial continues

REGINA – A former Regina teacher says he ‘absolutely’ did not have any sexual contact with a male student who is accusing him of sexual assault. 

Corey Matthews who taught at Scott Collegiate told court he coached inner city kids and when one youth committed suicide, it changed how he related to them.

His alleged accuser was not one of the kids he coached. 

The alleged victim has testified that he and Matthews spent numerous lunch hours over several weeks engaged in oral and anal sex, but Matthews says he was never alone in the car with the student.
