WINNIPEG – Police have arrested two teenagers in connection with a string of break-ins in a few square blocks of the North End.
A series of 10 residential break-ins took place within a few square blocks from Nov. 25 to Dec. 10, police said.
Police were dispatched to the Dec. 10 incident in the 600 block of Cathedral Avenue just after the 3 p.m. break-in.
A canine unit was sent with investigating officers and tracked a suspect to the 400 block of Parr Street, where he was arrested, police said.

Police subsequently identified and arrested two other suspects.
A 13-year-old and two 14-year-old boys face multiple property-related charges in connection with the break-ins.
One of the 14-year-olds is being held at the Manitoba Youth Centre; the other two have been released on promises to appear in court at a later date.
