DEAN McDERMOTT – The Toronto native joins The Morning Show to talk about his new gig as host of Chopped Canada. The actor is married to actress Tori Spelling. The Canuck spinoff of the popular U.S. cooking debuts Jan. 2 on Food Network Canada.

JOSEPH LEVY – The director is in-studio to talk about his new documentary “Spinning Plates.” The film looks at three extraordinary restaurants and the incredible people who bring them to life. The journey takes viewers to Chicago, Iowa and Tuscon where restaurant owners encounter challenges to their business.

ROB FORD WIRETAPS – A police document released yesterday by a judge says investigators believe they overheard people on wiretaps saying Mayor Rob Ford offered five-thousand  dollars and a car in exchange for a video of himself appearing to smoke crack cocaine. Radio host John Tory offers up his take on the latest allegations. TORONTO SHOW ONLY

ROB FORD INVESTIGATION – Former police investigator Mark Mendelson joins us in-studio to offer some insight into the wiretap information released on Mayor Rob Ford.  A lawyer for Ford calls the latest allegations “hearsay” and says the mayor doesn’t need to comment on them because he was never recorded in any of the wiretaps.
