Halifax Regional Police say they’ve arrested a suspect in a stabbing Tuesday afternoon that sent a 14-year-old to hospital.
Police responded to the area of Lucien Drive in Dartmouth just after 3 p.m.

“Officers located a 14-year-old youth who was stabbed and taken to hospital for what are believed to be non-life-threatening injuries,” HRP said in a news release.
They added that investigators did not believe the incident was random.
By 3:55 p.m., HRP updated the release to say a suspect had been arrested. The incident remains under investigation.
