Tonight, an extraordinary story about an Air Canada pilot accused of flying tens of thousands of passengers for years, despite not having the proper credentials. Fifty-nine-year-old Geoffrey Wall of Barrie, Ont., was charged with fraud and forgery. Police say he used forged documents to deceive Air Canada and Transport Canada into believing he had an airline transport pilot license. He was even promoted to captain. Wall retired last year. Sean O’Shea reports. Another chapter in decades-long battle over one of the most important trade routes in North America is set to unfold this week. Prime Minister Mark Carney says the new Canadian-built Gordie Howe bridge, connecting Windsor and Detroit, will open this week unless the U.S. president blocks it.
