VAUXHALL, Alta.- A man in his 20’s has died as the result of a farm machinery accident in southern Alberta.
It happened around 9 p.m. on Wednesday, near the town of Vauxhall.
It’s believed that a 28 year old Joel Bydevaate was working on a potato harvester, when he got stuck in the roller section of the machine.
Emergency crews rushed to the scene and managed to pull him out, but he died of his injuries.
RCMP are reminding those in the farming community to use extreme caution when working around machinery.
