PASQUA, Sask. – Two people are dead after an apparent head-on crash on Wednesday near Pasqua, Sask.
The crash happened between two vehicles traveling in opposite directions on Highway 39, 3 kilometres east of the community.
The drivers of the two vehicles, a 45-year-old man from Nipawan, Sask. area and a 26-year-old woman from Cold Lake, Alta. were killed in the crash.
Their names have not been released.
There were no passengers in either vehicle.
Mounties say road conditions and visibility were good at the time and both drivers were wearing seatbelts.
Alcohol is also not a factor in the crash.
The highway was closed for several hours while Moose Jaw RCMP investigated.
