MONTREAL – Montreal police are asking for the public’s help in identifying and locating a motorcyclist involved in a hit and run on Nun’s Island.
On Wednesday morning around 8:30 a.m., a police officer conducting a road safety operation on Nuns’ Island, near the rue de la Grande Allée attempted to stop a motorcycle who had committed an offence.
The motorcyclist accelerated and collided with police. He then fled towards the Champlain Bridge.
The suspect is described as a white man, driving a bright orange sport bike. At the time, the driver was wearing a black helmet with a clear visor and a black leather padded motorcycle jacket with an orange and white logo on the left breast.
