A man from the Niagara Region has been arrested for allegedly sending threatening emails to Hamilton City Council members.

One councillor, which police did not name, received the emails over a two week period.
On Thursday, with help from Niagara Regional Police, Hamilton police arrested a 36-year-old man for criminal harassment.
He was scheduled to make a court appearance that day.
