A 24-year-old man has died after being hit by a truck on Highway 2 early Tuesday morning.
Police said officers were called to the collision on the northbound lanes of the QE2 at 12:50 a.m. They said the pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics.
The RCMP declined to confirm if the truck involved was a pickup truck or a semi-truck and wouldn’t say how the pedestrian ended up on the road. Police did not say where the collision occurred.
Investigators will continue to investigate all contributing factors to this collision, the RCMP said, however, police said they will not provide further information about the investigation.
