RCMP in the Central Okanagan have two investigations of attempted murder underway.

The first involves a shooting on Dec. 2 in West Kelowna. Police were called to a home in the 3600 block of Granada Crescent last Friday around 12:30 p.m. after receiving a report that a man had been shot.

The shooting victim suffered serious but non-life threatening injuries. He was rushed from the scene by an associate to a nearby ambulance station and then transported to hospital. Police are not revealing a motive for the shooting.

“Not at this time but it’s been determined to be an isolated incident, the parties are well known to each other,” Kelowna RCMP Cpl. Jesse O’Donaghey said. The victim, Robert Delve, suffered serious injuries as a result of being shot.

Police arrested the homeowner, 59-year-old Charles William Maskell, on scene.  He’s now charged with the attempted murder of Delve.
