Ontario’s police watchdog is investigating after two people were injured in a single-vehicle crash in Vaughan overnight.
York Regional Police said they responded to a call around 12:20 a.m. near Weston Road and Steeles Avenue West.
A vehicle was located next to a parking lot on a grassy area in between several trees.
Two occupants inside were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The cause of the collision is unknown but a York police cruiser was also located at the scene and blocked off with yellow police tape.
