Fire heavily damaged a Summerland nursery on Saturday night, according to the Summerland Fire Department.
Firefighters were called shortly after 7 p.m. to a report of a structure fire; 16 members responded.
Part of a modular home, which was used for office purposes at MBC Summerland Nursery, south of the greenhouses on the edge of the property was fully engulfed, according to Pugh.
“There’s extensive damage,” assistant fire chief George Pugh said.
“The full south side and west end of the modular home received major structural damage as well as inside.”
A vehicle and a camper at 8333 McLachlan Street were also damaged in the fire.
Pugh said no injuries were reported and the greenhouses were not affected.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
