An alleged drunk driver made a first appearance in Penticton court Wednesday on three criminal charges stemming from a fatal highway crash.
It happened last December 24th on Highway 97 just north of Penticton.

RCMP say a northbound Honda van crossed the centre line and struck on on-coming Chevrolet sedan.
Arlene Faye Shepherd died from her injuries.
Andrew David Cook has been charged with impaired driving causing death, dangerous driving causing death and driving with a blood alcohol level over the legal limit.
