Both suspects are scheduled to appear in a Toronto court Friday morning.
Police are also investigating the stabbing of a second teenage boy near the same mall, less than 24 hours after Deerr was killed.

The second stabbing occurred shortly after friends and family gathered near the TTC station to remember Deerr.
Const. David Hopkinson told Global News Sunday it was too early to determine if the two incidents were connected.
An online fundraising campaign set up by Deerr’s family to raise money for his funeral said he was the youngest in his family and his mother’s “baby boy.”
