Police have located a vehicle they believe was involved in a fatal hit-and-run Sunday in Montreal’s Plateau Mont-Royal borough.
A 79-year-old woman was killed after she was struck by a Silverado pickup truck as she attempted to cross Mont-Royal Avenue.

According to Montreal police, the truck was found over 550 kilometres away in North Bay, Ont. at around 11:00 a.m. Monday.
The 33-year-old driving was arrested and charged with being in possession of a stolen vehicle.
Police are still trying to determine whether the man arrested in Ontario is the same one who was driving the truck involved in Sunday’s collision.
The investigation continues.
