TORONTO — A teenager is recovering in hospital after he was stabbed in a strip plaza at Finch Avenue and Albion Road Monday night.
Police received the call around 10:20 p.m. Officers said the teen was taken to a trauma centre with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
The victim is believed to be in his mid to late teens.
Police described the suspect as a black male about six feet tall. The age of the suspect is not yet known.
Police will be reviewing security video captured at the scene and speaking to the victim later today.
