The Peace Arch border crossing is open in both directions this morning after being closed down for hours Friday night.
Just after 6 p.m. Friday, the border crossing was shut down by Canadian Border Services Agency (CBSA).
They called Surrey RCMP for back-up after a driver reportedly told police he had explosives in his car.
People wanting to cross the border were directed to the Pacific Highway crossing, causing lengthy line-ups and delays.
A spokesperson for CBSA says no explosives were found.
The border was re-opened in both directions a few hours later.
