Surrey RCMP are looking for help in finding additional suspects involved in a targeted shooting that sent one man to hospital in early April.
Mounties were called to the area of 86A Avenue and 140th Street at about 1:55 p.m. on April 4 after receiving reports of several shots being fired. When officers arrived they found an man suffering from a gunshot wound. He was taken to hospital and later released.
The Serious Crime Investigation team have now found there were several suspects involved in the shooting who were driving a black Hyundai Tucson SUV.
Although this is being considered as a targeted shooting, police said they believe the man who was wounded was a victim of mistaken identity.
