Investigators are looking into the cause of a fire that destroyed a home early Friday morning in Oakville.
Emergency crews arrived on scene at a residence on Oxlow Drive and found it engulfed in flames.

Police say the homeowners woke up to what sounded like an explosion and stepped out to find their house on fire.
One person was taken to hospital for smoke inhalation and no other injuries were reported.
A neighbouring home was also struck by the fire. There’s no word yet on the cost of damages for both residences.
