Police have a person of interest in custody after gunshots erupted between two vehicles in north Toronto overnight.
Officers were called to the scene of the shooting around midnight on Shermount Avenue south of Lawrence Avenue West and Allen Road.
Police arrived to find a vehicle riddled with bullet holes and shell casings on the ground.
One person was taken into custody and police say they are not cooperating in the investigation.
Authorities say they are looking for a second vehicle described as a white Toyota Camry with visible damage.
Police also believe a victim in the vehicle may be injured.
