A man wanted in relation to an arson at a westside Lethbridge home in the early hours of Friday morning turned himself into police Friday afternoon.
At about 1:30 a.m., police and fire crews were a sent to Dalhousie Court West, where smoke could be seen coming from the windows of a fourplex. No one was injured during the evacuation.
Police said Eugene Cary White Quills, 30, has been charged with housebreaking and commit arson, arson to property-disregard for life, arson to the property of others, housebreaking with intent, uttering threats, possession of an offensive weapon, and failing to comply with a probation order.
Police hadn’t been able to find Quills, and issued a plea for help from the public earlier Friday. By 3:30 p.m., Quills had turned himself in.
