REGINA – A 25-year-old man is facing weapons and drug charges following a high-risk search warrant Tuesday evening.
According to police, the Regina Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) and Crisis Negotiator teams carried out the search warrant in the 1500 block of Cameron Street as part of an ongoing investigation.
A number of people were taken into custody and police are investigating to determine what roles, if any, those individuals may have played.

Two firearms, ammunitions and drugs were found during the investigation. Justin D. Martineau, of Regina, is charged with three counts of possession of a firearm or ammunition contrary to order and possession of a scheduled substance.
Martineau appeared in Provincial Court on these charges on Wednesday afternoon.
