Man charged for sending threatening email to Halifax-based lawyer

A Cape Breton man is facing charges after a Halifax-based lawyer contacted police to say he received a threatening email from a man he knew through previous court proceedings.

The email was received on Monday and Adam Joseph Roger Cormier, 35, was arrested on Thursday.

He was brought to Halifax on Friday and was expected in court to face charges including intimidation, uttering threats and breach of recognizance.
