CALGARY – RCMP are looking for help locating a man and woman involved in a brazen armed robbery in Airdrie on Friday.
It happened at the One Stop Smoke Shop at around 4:45 p.m.
Police say a woman with a gun threatened the store clerk and demanded money. She made off with cigarettes and an undisclosed amount of cash.
She fled the scene with a man in a dark grey Chevrolet HHR.
No one was injured.
The first suspect is described as a woman in her 20s, about 5’4” to 5’6” tall with dark hair pulled back in a ponytail. She was wearing dark sunglasses and a black hoodie.
The second suspect is described as a man in his 20s with a slim build. He was wearing a black baseball hat with white letter on it that said “GR,” orange sunglasses, blue jeans, a black hoodie and a black t-shirt with white designs.
