Winnipeg man faces string of child pornography charges

WINNIPEG — Officers have a 53-year-old man in custody after executing a search warrant on Vineland Crescent Wednesday.

The man faces charges including  possession of child pornography, distribution, sale and importing of child pornographic materials.

Acting on information received from the National Centre for Missing and Exploited Children, members of the Internet Child Exploitation Unit joined an ongoing investigation that resulted in the search warrant being executed.

The suspect was arrested without incident and was released on a promise to appear.
