VERNON – The Mounties in Vernon are investigating a suspicious fire.
A neighbour in the 2300 block of 33rd Street spotted flames just after 2:30 a.m. Tuesday and called 9-1-1.

Fire crews arrived to find a utility trailer parked at the curb with its wood sides burning.
A shopping cart at the rear of the trailer was also scorched.
