Air attack launched on Testalinden fire burning south of Oliver

B.C. wildfire crews have finally been able to launch an air attack on the Testalinden fire burning south of Oliver.

Helicopters battling the fire have been grounded for the past few days due to the thick haze.

The Okanagan-Similkameen Regional District is warning residents there may be some increased fire activity in the Hester Creek area.

Crews continue to fight the fire with fire doing controlled burns to help strengthen the containment lines.

One-hundred-and-eighty-three properties remain on evacuation alert.
