Woman dies in hospital after falling from balcony in Toronto

TORONTO – Police say a woman who fell from a sixth-floor balcony at a north Toronto apartment building early Thursday morning has died in hospital.

Surveillance video from a nearby building appears to show a man carrying a woman away from the scene.

In the video, a man walks to the scene followed soon after by another man.

Both men return from the scene soon after, one grasping the woman around her torso.

Police say an investigation is underway.
