UPDATE: Coroner identifies Saskatchewan who drowned in B.C.
SICAMOUS, B.C. – Mounties are investigating a death of a Saskatchewan man in British Columbia. A 24-year-old man did not resurface after he jumped off a houseboat Tuesday into Mara Lake.
The body was recovered near the boat with the assistance of the Royal Canadian Marine Search and Rescue and the RCMP dive team.
His name has not been released.

Investigators believe alcohol was a factor.
The B.C. coroner’s service is assisting with the investigation.
