Winnipeg park terrorized by vehicle, police seek suspect

WINNIPEG — Police are hunting for a suspect after a bizarre rampage through Charleswood Tuesday saw a vehicle roar through playgrounds and sports fields, mowing people down.

The car sped through Edey Park at Wilkes Avenue and Fairmont Road at about 8:45 p.m., terrorizing families at a skateboard park, baseball diamonds and soccer fields. A witness reported some injuries among bystanders.
