SASKATOON – Firefighters had to deal with two overnight fires in Saskatoon. Both were in the alley in the 400-block of Avenue G North.
Crews were called out at 12:55 to respond to the first fire, arriving to find a fence fire had spread to a single detached garage. Firefighters had the fire under control in 15 minutes.
A second fire was found burning in the same alley just north of the first fire. Crews were able to put out the fire when they arrived at the scene.

The cause of the fires remains under investigation. There is no word on a damage estimate.
