CALGARY – Calgarians are being treated to one last wallop of winter weather before spring.

Snow began falling on Sunday evening and continued overnight, but is anticipated to stop by mid-morning on Monday.

“A huge push of pacific moisture across B.C. and Washington made its way into the Rockies and southwestern Alberta overnight,” explained Meteorologist Jordan Witzel. “Amounts have exceeded 40 cm in areas of the mountains while Kananaskis Country has seen up to 15 cm.”
