CALGARY – One man was rushed to hospital on Friday after being struck by a semi-trailer.
It happened in the 5400 block of Falsbridge Drive N.E. around 10:30 a.m.
It’s believed the semi-truck was reversing when it struck the victim.
The man, believed to be in his 30’s, was rushed to the Foothills Medical Centre with serious injuries to his upper torso and possible internal injuries. However, his injuries are considered non-life-threatening.
Occupational Health and Safety is investigating, as is standard in any workplace injury.
