Sask. RCMP charge woman with second-degree murder

PRINCE ALBERT, Sask. – A suspicious death on the Muskoday First Nation has turned into a homicide investigation. Robyn Laura Ermine, 27, is now facing charges after a man died this weekend on the Saskatchewan reserve.

Evan Tylan Bear, 27, was pronounced dead after authorities responded to the First Nation early Saturday morning.

Ermine is charged with second-degree murder in connection to the death, along with breach of an undertaking and two counts of breach of probation.

RCMP say the woman and the victim were known to each other. Both are from the reserve, which is southeast of Prince Albert, Sask.

The accused is scheduled to appear in provincial court on Monday morning.
