Man suffers life-threatening injuries in Dover stabbing

CALGARY – Two people were injured in an early morning confrontation in Dover on Friday.

It happened at a house in the 3000 block of 30a Street S.E. just before 2 a.m.

Police believe four people became involved in some kind of argument after entering the home.

One woman was injured, at which point it’s believed the homeowner chased after the attackers.

When EMS found the homeowner, a man in his 40s, he was suffering from multiple stab wounds to his abdomen and face. He was rushed to hospital in life-threatening condition, but has since been upgraded to stable condition.

The female victim was also taken to hospital, but her injuries are considered to be minor. She was not stabbed.

Police are trying to determine if the attack was targeted, and if the victims knew the offenders.
