Armed man robs Saskatoon Safeway

SASKATOON – Police are looking for the man who robbed a grocery store in Saskatoon Monday morning. It happened at the 33rd Street Safeway around 11:30 a.m.

Witnesses told police the man showed what appeared to be a firearm and demand money. He took off westbound on 33rd with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect is Caucasian, between 20 and 30 with blond hair. He was wearing a dark red jacket with a dark blue shirt underneath, a tan coloured toque, dark pants and black boot.
