AIRDRIE – RCMP have charged a 30-year-old Airdrie man for allegedly stealing an inflatable Christmas decoration.
Dana Mah was arrested last Thursday morning after police received complaints of a suspect prowling vehicles in the Channelside area.
Investigators say the man was found to be in possession of a number of stolen items, including a credit card, sunglasses, GPS and an inflatable helicopter Santa.
Police have charged Mah with five counts of possession of stolen property, theft of credit card, breach of probation and possession of a controlled substance.
He is scheduled to appear in court on Thursday.
It’s unknown where the inflatable Christmas decoration was stolen from – or if it has been returned to its rightful owner.
