Ont. woman charged with identity fraud in Saskatoon

SASKATOON – An Ontario woman is facing a number of fraud charges, including identity fraud, after she was arrested in Saskatoon last week.

The 19-year-old woman was arrested during the afternoon of Oct. 31 after attempting to impersonate someone else at a financial institution in the 100-block of Primrose Drive.

She was held by security until police arrived.

Along with the with identity fraud charge, the unnamed woman is facing four charges of possession of identity documents relating to another person and two counts of breach of recognizance.

She is scheduled to appear in Saskatoon provincial court on Thursday.
