TORONTO – A man was stabbed multiple times in the torso Wednesday near a subway station in Scarborough.
The man, believed to be in his 20s, was rushed to hospital in serious condition shortly before noon.

It’s not clear what led to the stabbing but media reports suggest it may have been the result of an attempted robbery.
Two male suspects were seen fleeing the area.
