Man robs Sutherland pharmacy, 4th robbery in Saskatoon in 24 hours

SASKATOON – A Sutherland pharmacy was help up by a masked man Sunday morning.

Saskatoon police say the man entered the drug store around 11:15 a.m. in the 1200-block of Central Avenue and approached a pharmacist working in the back.

He handed over a note demanding specific drugs and indicated he had a knife and gun although no weapon was shown.

He made off with an undisclosed amount of narcotics.

No one was injured in the robbery.

Police are looking for a man around six feet tall who was wearing light brown construction overalls with a black hoodie underneath. He had a black neck warmer pulled up over his face.

It was the fourth armed robbery in Saskatoon over the past 24 hours.
