CANMORE – RCMP are searching for a suspect in an armed robbery at Rexall Pharmacy in Canmore.
Investigators say a lone man entered the pharmacy shortly after 10 A.M. Thursday producing a canister of what was believed to be bear spray.
The offender demanded the female attendant provide the combination to the safe and threatened to kill her.
The man opened the safe, took an undisclosed amount of narcotics and ran off.
The suspect is described as:
- 6’1” tall
- thin build
- wearing a grey hooded shirt and light jeans
- carrying a grey shoulder bag
RCMP say right before the incident, three other males were also noted to be in the store. It’s believed they could either be involved or have information relevant to the robbery.
They are described as:
5’7″, wearing dark jeans, short brown hair, combed straight back
- 6’1″, wearing jeans, blonde hair, articulate, with a pock-marked face
- 6’2″, wearing black shirt and jeans, 40 years old, collar-length black hair
