WINNIPEG – A bus driver who tried to break up a fight on his bus ended up getting the worst of it, police say.
Passengers got in a fight on the bus near Selkirk Avenue and Battery Street at about 9 p.m. Monday, Winnipeg police said.

When the bus driver stepped in, a man pepper sprayed him before taking off.
Police and paramedics were called to the North End scene shortly after 9 p.m.
The bus driver was treated by paramedics at the scene.
No arrests have been made.
