Mixed martial arts fighter Geoffrey Meisner went for coffee on November 27, 2009 and never returned.
Meisner lived with his wife and four daughters in Kelowna. He was last seen when his wife dropped him off at the Orchard Park Shopping Centre; he was meeting someone for coffee and picking up his Ford F-350 from the mall.
His vehicle was found later that night, outside a Starbucks on Highway 97 North and Leathead Road. Many of his personal belongings were inside, and investigators suspect foul play.
“The investigators in the case have enough evidence to be able to confirm that Mr. Meisner was was involved in the drug trade. As a result of that we are appealing to anyone that has connection with Mr. Meisner with any information that they may know to come forward and divulge that to the RCMP,” according to an officer involved in the case.
Anyone with information on what happened to Meisner is asked to contact B.C. Crimestoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or online and can remain anonymous.
