TORONTO – A man was allegedly the victim of a violent pistol-whipping and carjacking at the hands of two teenagers in north Etobicoke.

Police say the man was approached by two teenagers, a 16-year-old and an 18-year-old, while in his driveway near Islington Avenue and Finch Avenue on Monday evening.

He was cornered and pushed up against his car before the two teens allegedly demanded his keys.

One of the teens pointed a gun at the man while the other snatched his car keys, according to the police report.

The victim was then pistol-whipped in his driveway, police said. He suffered non-life threatening injuries and was treated in hospital.

Police eventually found the car and followed it to the Black Creek Drive near Lawrence Avenue. Police waited until the car was stopped in traffic to approach it and arrested both teens.
