WINNIPEG — The Correctional Service of Canada says an inmate at Stony Mountain Institution in Manitoba has died.
Duane Edward Taylor, 53, was found unresponsive in his cell on Saturday and couldn’t be resuscitated, the correctional service said.

Taylor was serving an indeterminate sentence for first-degree murder since Sept. 8, 1982.
Stonewall RCMP said they were called about the death at about 10:15 p.m. Saturday and are investigating it as a homicide.
