NIPAWIN, Sask. – A man is facing an attempted murder charge after a man suffered life-threatening injuries following an attack at a residence in Nipawin, Sask.
RCMP were called to a residence in the community Sunday morning where they found a man suffering from severe head injuries.
He was taken to Nipawin Hospital and then air lifted to Saskatoon with life-threatening injuries. There is no word on his current condition.
Nathan Pelly, 19, from Nipawin is charged with attempted murder and break and enter with intent to attempt murder.
He is scheduled to appear in Nipawin provincial court on Wednesday.
Two other people have been charged in the attack.
Cynthia Kitchemonia, 34, and William Bignell, 40, both from Kamsack, have been charged with break and enter and aggravated assault.
Both appeared in Melfort provincial court on Monday. Kitchemonia makes her next court appearance on Thursday while Bignell will be back in court on Wednesday.
Police say alcohol is considered a factor in the assault.
