REGINA – A group of hooded men and women robbed a pizza delivery driver in Regina early Saturday morning, making off with food, a cell phone and cash.

Regina police were called around 2 a.m. to the incident in the 1100-block of Retallack Street.

At least three and two women in their late teens or early 20s emerged from an alley near a house as the driver was delivering food to an address on the block, according to police.

The group, dressed in black, demanded the food and money, threatening the driver with baseball bats.

After taking the items, including over $100 worth of pizza, wings, salad and pop, the suspects fled.

The driver was not injured.

The incident is under investigation and police are asking the public to come forward with any information related to the case.
