Aggravated assault victim found bleeding in North Battleford, Sask.

NORTH BATTLEFORD, Sask. – A man was found bleeding in North Battleford, Sask. after an aggravated assault Saturday morning.

At 5:15 a.m., RCMP were called to an assault at a residence in the 1200-block of 103rd Street.

Officers arrived to find an injured 34-year-old man in need of immediate medical attention.

He was taken to Battleford Union Hospital and later airlifted to Royal University Hospital in Saskatoon where he remains in stable condition.

A 21-year-old woman and an 18-year-old man were arrested and have been charged with aggravated assault.

They are scheduled to appear in provincial court on May 26.
