It’s alleged a woman was held captive in two apartments in east-end Toronto and violently assaulted by a man and three women with a variety of weapons over several days.

Toronto police have said the victim was choked with a seatbelt as she was driven to a park on Dec. 21, where she managed to escape and sought help from a passerby.

Two other women have been arrested in connection with the case and face charges including assault with a weapon, forcible confinement and kidnapping.

John Brown, 44, of Pickering is also wanted in the investigation but police say he was not apprehended along with Marki.
